Motor vehicle wheel suspension
Martínek, Tomáš ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Laurinec, Marián (advisor)
This thesis deals with overview of different types of motor vehicle wheel suspension. Their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages are described along with several structural designs. Basic construction principles of commonly used shock absorbers are also presented.
Sport car suspension
Martínek, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of front and rear suspension of single-seater sports car. Design and optimization of geometrical parametres of axles is followed after theoretical introduction. Another section is concerned with calculation of the vehicle suspension and design of the steering. The construction of individual components is described in the final section.
Children Terrain Electric Vehicle
Sedlář, Martin ; Rozsíval, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on a conceptual design of a children terrain vehicle with electric drive. At the first part there are described children terrain vehicles rules, electric drives, regulations for a frame test and types of suspension. Then a suitable electric engine, an accumulator and other important parts of the vehicle are chosen. The following part describes the frame construction and its stress-strain analysis using Finite element method. The last part of thesis describes the suspension construction and front suspension kinematics solved in a multibody software. The result of thesis is a vehicle conceptual design created in CAD software Creo, supported by results of the stress-strain and kinematic analysis.
Design concept six wheel small utility vehicle.
Horák, Šimon ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Rasch, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with a conceptual design of small utility vehicle with three axles. The aim is to devise a suitable type of frame along with construction of all axles and a steering system, implementation of a drive train, a braking system and other basic equipment. Own solution is preceded by elaboration of a survey dealing with small utility vehicles produced nowadays as well as in the past together with a description of all variants of basic assemblies suitable for the construction of the specified vehicle.
The suspension types of passenger Cars
Sedlář, Jiří ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis there is mentioned the overview of types of axles, which are used by the current cars.Their working principle is described for each type of axle and it is also mentioned an example of usage for concrete car. In the thesis are listed marks and types of cars, which use this types of axles.
Conception of ATV (all-terrain vehicles)
Dosedla, Milan ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is review article of the current design and construction setup of ATVs. In the individual chapters are analyzed function of structural units and their advantages and disadvantages for the application. Much attention is paid to the design and construction of the brakes and axles. Work based on the analysis 30 models of ATVs from different manufacturers. This thesis reports the specifications of selected models. In conclusion we discuss the appropriateness of design solutions for different types of ATVs such as utility or sport models.
Tool Design for Formula Student Suspension Stiffness Measurement
Polášek, Jan ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this work is to design available facility for testing of suspension stiffness primarily intended for Formula Student vehicle. Moreover, it is expected to be used for passenger vehicles as well. This work also contains description of issues of suspension stiffness testing and describes some of the facilities currently used for this kind of tests.
Design of heavy vehicle chassis
Herman, Tomáš ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor thesis is „Design of heavy vehicle chassis". The following chapters describe individual parts of heavy vehicle chassis (frames, suspension, brakes). There are also mentioned advantages and disadvantages, utilization and function of individual components.
Axle assessment using the EUSAMA methodology
Vítek, Lukáš ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachaleor thesis deals with optimalization of axle assessment. The introduction is directed to description shock absorber, non-assembling diagnostics and dynamics of vehicles. The automotive suspension is meant to provide comfort and mainly safety for the passengers. Because shock absorber are stressed, it must be controled. The most important kind of non-assembling diagnostics for this thesis is EUSAMA methodology. All measurement are realized with resonant adhesive tester, which is named TriTec. This device is structural simpler, then other one.
Race Car Front Wheel Carrier Design
Fejfar, Marek ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of uprights and wheel hubs of front wheels of Formula Student race car. Specifically race cars named Dragon 3 and Dragon 4 of TU Brno Racing team. In this thesis there will be load calculations of front wheels, choosing of bearings and uprights and wheel hub’s design. Then control of design by FEA analysis. And finally comparing of both designs and comparing with previous designs.
